Our legal teams support the innovators driving the growthand success of EchoStar and its subsidiaries. From identifying andsupporting a variety of corporate legal matters to negotiating theindustry’s evolving legal landscape, our corporate counselors bringtheir own kind of invention to effect positive change across thecompany and their own careers.

Job Duties andResponsibilities

We are seeking amid-level transactional attorney to support the largest commercial5G VoNR network deployment in the world reaching approximately 200million Americans and 5G broadband service reaching approximately250 million Americans. The ideal candidate is passionate about ourbusiness and interested in working closely with our wirelessbusiness teams nationwide to change the way the world communicates.This role will sit in Denver, CO, Chicago, IL, Irvine, CA orRoseland, NJ.

KeyResponsibilities :

  • Draft and negotiate a wide varietyof complex wireless infrastructure and real estate lease / licenseagreements, amendments, assignments, easements, entry and testingagreements, SNDAs, MOLs, estoppels (tower, rooftop, small cell,pole attachment, DAS, etc.), and other ancillary contracts withprivate and public sector landlords, as well as draft and negotiateconstruction and services agreements with service vendors; thecandidate should be able to perform the foregoing independently andwith minimal supervision
  • Prepare risk analysis, conductancillary due diligence (title review, survey review, etc.), andprovide legal guidance to national business teams throughout thesite acquisition process
  • Advise and strategize with businessteams on obtaining zoning and permitting entitlements, and counselon various issues such as application filings, public hearingprocesses, and federal shot clocks
  • Work closely with propertymanagement and litigation teams to resolve pre-litigation conflictspertaining to construction disputes, liens, property damage,insurance matters, and access and utilityissues
  • Providedependable and practical legal advice and assistance across theorganization and collaborate with internal teams to accomplish ourwireless goals and strategicobjectives
  • Assist withother responsibilities as needed

Skills, Experience andRequirements

Education andExperience :

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-yearcollege or university
  • Admitted to practice law in at leastone state
  • J.D. froman ABA-accredited law school
  • 5-10 years of experience draftingand negotiating a wide variety of complex commercial and realestate agreements with a large national or regional law firm orleading corporation
  • 2+ years of experience drafting and negotiating wirelessreal estate agreementspreferred
  • Skills andQualifications :

  • High attention to detail withexcellent verbal and written communication, project management,organization skills, and the ability to manage multiple prioritiesand deadlines in a fast-pacedenvironment
  • A passionfor the in-house practice of law
  • Energy, resourcefulness, a goodsense of humor, and a demonstrated desire toachieve

    Compensation : $154,275.00 / Year - $208,725.00 / Year

    The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual totalcompensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications,skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role'slocation and is subject to change based on worklocation.
