Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as Diagnostic Radiology RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA / ARC)
- Current ACLS certification (AHA / ARC)
Preferred Qualifications

Complete nursing assessment of patients in the Radiology department and document appropriately into patient recordli>
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to plan and coordinate patient care
Monitor patients’ responses throughout procedures and report outcomesAdminister medications as ordered with appropriate documentationInitiate intravenous access lines, monitor vital signs and oxygen saturation during proceduresAdminister special dyes / contrast mediums into patientsAdminister barium enemas / solutions prior to proceduresAdminister analgesia and sedation as ordered by physiciansPractice proper radiation protectionReassess patients after their procedure and provide care until dischargeMaintain cleanliness of rooms and suppliesTransport patients ensuring safety and comfortFollow hospital safety policies and proceduresPerform other duties as assigned within scope of radiology nursing practiceRequired Essential Skills
