We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Permanent Buyer Planner to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This role requires a keen understanding of the manufacturing process, a strong ability to forecast needs, and an analytical mindset to ensure the smooth running of our production line. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement of goods, materials, and services to ensure that the company's operational needs are met, considering price, quality, and delivery, and to ensure continuity of supply.

Responsibilities :

1. Develop and manage the Product Development Process (PDP) and implement Engineering Change Orders as required.

2. Generate and analyze Planned Order Reports and maintain Work Order Maintenance.

3. Monitor and manage Material Shortage Reporting, anticipating any potential delays and formulating solutions proactively.

4. Implement and manage the Kanban system to ensure efficient production flow.

5. Oversee and coordinate activities in the Production Cell to ensure optimal productivity.

6. Perform Cycle Counts to maintain accurate inventory levels and minimize waste.

7. Use Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software to streamline and integrate procurement, operations, maintenance, and inventory control.

8. Collaborate with various departments to forecast needs and plan procurement schedules.

9. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors, building strong relationships and negotiating contracts to ensure cost-effective procurement.

Qualifications :

1. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry.

2. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

3. Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) is a must.

4. Solid understanding of supply chain and inventory management systems.

5. Proficient in ERP software and other relevant computer applications.

6. Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to build relationships with suppliers and vendors.

7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

8. Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

9. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

10. Proven ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced, highly professional environment.
