The Donor Communications Officer is primarily responsible for developing donor communications materials to advance Principal Gifts fundraising in emerging markets. Working remotely, they will support colleagues based in the U.S., including New York City, as well as London, São Paulo, Hong Kong and Singapore. Additionally, they will support the donor communications and donor messaging needs of TNC's global campaign as requested by the Director and Associate Director of Donor Communications.
The Donor Communications Officer helps lead the development and production of bespoke communications materials for TNC's top donors. They will write and edit materials in support of the organization's 2030 goals. This will include donor products designed to help fundraisers share consistent, compelling stories and connect with new audiences, including ultra-high-net-worth global citizens and corporate donors. They will assist the Associate Director in building relationships with a dynamic, entrepreneurial fundraising team that is globally dispersed. They produce content for both internal and external audiences and contribute to overall strategy as well as specific project outcomes.
As a member of the Donor Relations team, the Donor Communications Officer is an integral part of a cross-functional, highly motivated group of donor communications, stewardship and engagement professionals. They work regularly with key partners across the organization, including fundraising, marketing and conservation staff. They make recommendations to leadership regarding strategy and processes used by the team. The Donor Communications Officer will report to the Associate Director of Donor Communications.

Salary Information :
This position may be based in any country where TNC has an established entity, taking into consideration legal restrictions, such as non-national ratios and immigration processing times. For U.S. based applicants only, the starting pay range for this position is generally within the range of $76,500 - $111,400 for annual base salary and is based on location, qualifications, specific skills, and experience. This range only applies to candidates whose country of employment is the USA. For all other applicants, pay ranges will be in local currency, the pay range will be based on the local labor market, and not tied to the above pay range. Your geographic location will be confirmed during the recruitment and used to determine your actual pay range. Additionally, for all applicants, actual pay will fall within a range based on a variety of factors including, for example, the candidate's qualifications, specific skills, and experience.
