Job description

Job Summary :

  • We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Daycare Teaching Assistant.
  • The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the educational and developmental needs of children in our daycare facility.
  • This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young minds.

Responsibilities :

  • Support Lead Teacher : Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities that align with the daycare's educational philosophy.

    • Supervision of Children :

  • Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.
  • Supervise and engage with children during playtime, meals, and other activities.

    • Assist with Classroom Management :

  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment by assisting with behavior management and promoting cooperation among children.

    • Individualized Support :

  • Provide individualized attention to children who may require additional assistance or have special needs, ensuring their integration into the daycare setting.

    • Communication with Parents :

  • Maintain open and effective communication with parents, providing updates on a child's daily activities, progress, and any concerns.

    • Health and Safety Compliance :

  • Follow and enforce health and safety protocols, ensuring a clean and secure environment for all children.

    • Materials Preparation :

  • Assist in preparing and organizing educational materials, supplies, and resources for daily activities.

    • Professional Development :

  • Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance skills and stay informed about best practices in early childhood education.

    • Qualifications :

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; relevant coursework in early childhood education is a plus.
  • Previous experience working in a daycare or educational setting with young children.
  • Understanding of child development and age-appropriate teaching methods.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, flexibility, and a genuine passion for working with children.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Mandarin speaking is a plus.         Any additional relevant certifications in early childhood education would be advantageous.

    • Job Type :

  • Full-time Compensation : $18-20 per hour, commensurate with experience.

    • Schedule :
