State Licensed Coding Specialist II

A company is looking for a Coding Specialist II - Primary Care.

Key Responsibilities

Select and sequence ICD-10 and / or CPT / HCPCS codes for various patient types

Abstract clinical data from records to ensure documentation supports diagnoses and procedures

Maintain patient and provider confidentiality in compliance with relevant laws and guidelines

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED

Active RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCA, COC, CCS-P, or CPC certification

Two years of recent coding experience in relevant healthcare settings

Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and coding guidelines

Proficient computer skills, including MS Office applications
