Job Title : Construction Safety Associate

Location : Cincinnati, OH

About the Role :

Environmental and Safety Solutions, Inc. (ESS) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Safety Associate . The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing health and safety practices in accordance with OSHA regulations and client standards.

We are looking for a self-directed, detail-oriented safety professional with excellent communication and computer skills who thrives in a fast-paced, compliance-driven construction environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Safety professional must have OSHA 30-hour certification (minimum).
  • Minimum of 5 years’ construction safety experience (sometimes phrased as “demonstrated experience on projects of similar size and scope”).
  • Ability to conduct daily inspections, orientations, hazard analyses, and maintain OSHA logs.
  • Authority to stop work in unsafe conditions.
  • First Aid / CPR training required.
  • Must be dedicated solely to safety duties (not dual role as superintendent or foreman

Minimum Qualifications :

  • 5+ years of continuous experience in construction safety management.
  • OSHA 510 is mandatory.
  • Current First Aid / CPR certification.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and digital safety platforms.
  • Must be able to work independently and manage site safety with minimal supervision.
  • U.S. Citizenship required

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Familiarity with incident investigation and root cause analysis methods.
  • Prior experience coordinating with subcontractors and site leadership on large-scale builds.
