Job Details

Registered Nurse responsible for providing care to Emergency Room patients using the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.

Demonstrates critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering safe patient care in the Emergency Department.

Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education.

Delegates patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.

Provides direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.

Job Requirements

Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience.

Must have Arizona state nursing license.

Must have BLS certification.

Must have ACLS certification.

Must have PALS certification.

Preferred certifications : TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) or CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute), NIH (likely NIH Stroke Scale).

Must have Cerner electronic medical record experience.

Schedule Information

Night Shift : 1900 - 0730.

36 hours guaranteed per week.

Rotating weekends.

Required to float to Marana ED located at 6350 Marana Center Blvd.

Unit Specific Information

Emergency Department unit.

Required to float between departments and sister facilities.
