Job description

Position Title : Customer Service Representative

Location : Tempus Corporate Headquarters, 600 Technology Center Drive, Stoughton, Massachusetts, United States of America

Description :

Tempus Unlimited, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that provides community-based services to empower children and adults with disabilities to live as independently as possible in the least restrictive environment. The Customer Service Representative position has many layers and components as we are heavily integrated with each function in FI Processing & Support Services and the company as a whole. Working with a high volume of inbound / outbound calls, chat, email and Communication issues. We are the “face and voice” of the company and as such; must conduct a positive, professional demeanor as we in many cases are first to hear of problems needing resolution thus providing program related resource information, act as liaisons to other departments within the company striving for first contact resolution.

  • Call center and phone customer service experience highly preferred
  • Bilingual preferred : Fluent in English and all languages
  • Stoughton office location
  • 6-8 weeks required in person for training
  • Full time, 35 hours a week
  • Monday - Friday, 8 : 30am - 4 : 30pm

Essential Functions

  • Answers internal & external inquires through various methods such as : Inbound / Outbound calls, chat, email and Communication issues
  • Troubleshooting issues needing resolution
  • Provides program related resource information
  • Liaison to other departments within the company
  • Must report all suspected incidents of consumer sexual / physical abuse and neglect to the Disabled Person Protection Commission (DPPC)
  • Assist with training new hires

  • Competent with data entry and basic formula understanding and application
  • Able to learn, retain, and apply new information on a frequent basis
  • Punctual and dependable by adhering to Tempus attendance policy.
  • Preferred Experience

  • Call Center and Customer Service experience highly preferred
  • Bilingual a plus
  • Required Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Work Environment

  • This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
