Material Handler / Kitter
Join our team as a Kitter, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines. You will be responsible for the efficient movement, storage, and tracking of materials within our facility, specifically focusing on supporting CNC machines.
Responsibilities :
- Transport raw materials, parts, and finished products throughout the facility to designated areas.
- Supply production lines near CNC machines with necessary materials to meet manufacturing schedules and ensure uninterrupted production.
- Assist with maintaining accurate inventory records by performing cycle counts and reporting discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Properly label and store materials in assigned locations, optimizing space and ensuring easy accessibility.
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following safety procedures and OSHA regulations. Report any safety hazards or equipment issues to the supervisor immediately.
- Participate in efforts to improve material handling processes, increase efficiency, and reduce waste.
Essential Skills :
Experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or HVAC-related industry.Ability to document and track material storage, specifically sheet metal, ensuring ample product availability.Experience working with heavy sheet metal near CNC machines, with the ability to stand for 10-12 hours a day and lift up to 35 lbs.Forklift experience required, with the ability to get recertified.High school diploma or equivalent.Additional Skills & Qualifications :
Experience in an HVAC or manufacturing environment.Familiarity with ERP systems, EPICOR is a plus.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Knowledge of HVAC systems or manufacturing processes is a plus.Why Work Here?

Work Environment :
The work environment includes a state-of-the-art facility in Mesa, Arizona, with electric charging stations available. The position requires the ability to lift and move up to 35 pounds, and to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch as needed. Good manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination are required, with the use of Personal Protection Equipment.
Work hours are Monday-Thursday from 6 : 00AM-4 : 30PM. Training takes place Monday to Thursday, 6 am to 4 : 30 pm for one week.

Pay and Benefits :
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
