Job Summary :

Join our team as a Temp - Ultrasound Technologist specializing in General and Vascular imaging. This dynamic role involves performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including biopsies, OB / GYN, vascular venous and arterial studies, abdominal scans, small body parts, intra-cavity imaging, and color Doppler. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality images while ensuring patient safety and comfort, demonstrating strong critical thinking, interpersonal skills, and the ability to adapt within a fast-paced healthcare environment.

What You Bring :

Strong technical proficiency in diagnostic ultrasound modalities, including vascular and general imaging

Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills to independently evaluate images and differentiate normal from pathological findings

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients under physical or emotional stress

Ability to comprehend and follow physicians' verbal orders and imaging protocols accurately

Experience working in diverse settings such as inpatient, emergency, and outpatient environments, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities

Self-motivated with a commitment to lifelong learning to stay updated on new procedures, technology, and disease processes

Attention to detail for documentation accuracy and adherence to safety standards

Ability to successfully sterilize equipment and maintain a clean, organized work environment

Preferred Education & Experience :

Graduate of a formal Ultrasound Technology program or accredited radiologic program

Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in general and vascular ultrasound procedures

Proficiency in advanced ultrasound techniques and intra-cavity imaging

Experience with electronic medical record systems and quality assurance processes

Demonstrated knowledge of relevant regulatory standards, including The Joint Commission, federal, state, and local laws
