PC Authorization Associate

A company is looking for a PC Authorization Associate I.

Key Responsibilities

Contact insurance companies and third-party payers for pre-certification and pre-authorization requirements

Obtain necessary pre-certifications or pre-authorizations prior to scheduled services

Liaise with physicians and office staff to gather additional information as needed

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED

Two years of experience in Healthcare Revenue Cycle or related healthcare experience

Three years of related healthcare Revenue Cycle experience preferred

Bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university preferred

Certification with Healthcare Financial Management Association or Certified Revenue Cycle Representative preferred
