Overview

INBOARD / OUTBOARD ENGINE MECHANIC – Richmond – Fixed Term

We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced and qualified Inboard / Outboard Engine Mechanic with marine engine experience to fill a position at our Fleet Maintenance facility in Richmond.

Responsibilities

• Perform services, troubleshoot and repair all rescue craft engines and small engine equipment (e.g., forklifts, small mobile cranes).
• Maintain and service test equipment and components.
• Operate rescue craft and evaluate engine equipment and performance.
• Complete and maintain service records ensuring service intervals are maintained.
• Ensure work is performed in accordance with company, manufacturer and / or regulatory body specifications.
• Ensure ISO standards are updated and maintained.
• Travel off-site to attend to equipment breakdowns as required.
• Provide support to new employees and helpers.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications

You hold a relevant BC or interprovincial Trade Qualification of Inboard / Outboard Mechanic.
