We are looking for a Paralegal who will assist our lawyers by providing administrative support, assisting attorneys with day-to-day office operations, and supporting litigation activity.
Responsibilities of the Paralegal :
- Drafts, proofs, and edits correspondence, agreements, and other work product
- Maintains attorney calendars, schedules consultations, meetings, events, conferences, and trainings
- Assists attorneys with litigation process including pleading review, filing, discovery, and trial preparation
- Maintains and manages correspondence, pleadings, court logs, and files
- Review and draft routine legal documents
- Create and maintain case files
- Facilitate the meeting of attorney's deadlines
- Conduct legal research
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications of the Paralegal :
Associate degree in Paralegal Studies or related field requiredBachelors degree in Paralegal Studies or related field preferredProficient with Microsoft Office 365 Suite, CLIOParalegal certificate preferredAt least one to five years of litigation experience preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsUnderstanding of legal language and principles, court pleadings and processes, and other related mattersAbility to maintain confidentiality, and exercise discretion and good judgmentFull-time (Onsite) $45k-55k + Great Benefits
