Staff Supplier Quality Analyst
We're hiring for a position open to both Staff (P3) and Senior (P4) candidates. The level will be determined based on the successful applicant's qualifications, experience, and demonstrated skills during the interview process.
Job Overview
The Supplier Quality Analyst will work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure equipment and materials procured by PGE meet minimum quality standards by owning, facilitating and executing PGE's quality management program. Will be responsible for identifying deficiencies in supplier quality, performing QMS assessments both on site and virtually, facilitating corrective and preventative actions with suppliers, tracking supplier performance and delivering positive value for PGE customer.
Key Responsibilities
P3 Staff Supplier Quality Analyst
- Supplier Quality Program Management : Owns and administers PGE's Supplier Quality Program. Identifies and executes initiatives to ensure PGE is receiving materials and equipment that meet or exceed minimum standards.
- Supplier Assessment : Reviews supplier quality management systems, evaluates their effectiveness, and recommends improvements to address gaps.
- Risk Management : Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to minimize risk to PGE systems and processes based on material supplier performance.
- Root Cause Analysis : Tracks, identifies, and assists in Root Cause Analysis investigations into reliability and supplier quality events. Analyzes results and drafts conclusions and remediation plans.
- Analysis and Implementation : Proactively researches and interprets new material and equipment standards. Coordinates with subject matter experts to determine action items, when applicable.
- Consultation and Outreach : Responds to needs of internal stakeholder and provides training and outreach to internal stakeholders related to area of expertise.
- Assessment and Enforcement Management : Schedules, coordinates, and participates in supplier assessments. Gathers evidence for and submits process improvement related to manufacturing deficiencies. Supports strategic discussions related to response actions.
P4 Senior Supplier Quality Analyst
Supplier Quality Program Management : Champions PGE's Supplier Quality Program. Identifies and executes initiatives to ensure PGE is receiving materials and equipment that meet or exceed minimum standards.Supplier Assessment : Reviews supplier quality management systems, evaluates their effectiveness, and recommends improvements to address gaps. Takes lead and initiative to proactively drive improvements.Risk Management : Leads collaborations with internal and external stakeholders to minimize risk to PGE systems and processes based on material supplier performance.Root Cause Analysis : Leads Root Cause Analysis investigations into reliability and supplier quality events. Analyzes results and drafts conclusions and remediation plans.Analysis and Implementation : Proactively researches and interprets new material and equipment standards. Education P3 & P4 : Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical field, or related disciplineor equivalent experience.
Experience
P3 Staff : Typically five or more years in quality assurance, manufacturing, engineering or related discipline.P4 Senior : Typically eight or more years in quality assurance, manufacturing, engineering or related discipline.Certifications ISO9001 certification preferred.

Compensation Range :
$89,175.00 - $178,375.00
Actual total compensation, including a performance based incentive bonus, is commensurate with experience, skills, qualifications, education, training, and internal equity. While we anticipate the selected candidate for this position will fall towards the middle or entry point of the compensation range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis.
