Territory : Ocala / Orlando West, FL - Psychiatry

Target city for territory is Ocala - we will consider candidates who live within 40 miles of territory boundaries with access to a major airport. Territory boundaries include : Ocala and Villages North, Ocoee and Winter Garden South and East, Brooksville West.

As an Account Manager in Psychiatry, you will be instrumental in promoting our psychiatry portfolio. You will execute innovative sales and marketing strategies backed by comprehensive clinical knowledge to drive sales performance. Our Account Managers excel in navigating the complexities of commercialization in today's dynamic environment, showcasing strong capabilities in various critical areas :

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

  • Business Planning & Account Leadership - Utilize digital tools and data-driven insights to identify opportunities, develop strategies and tactics, allocate resources, and monitor progress to optimize sales execution.
  • Selling - Communicate effectively and compellingly with customers, addressing their needs and closing each call with a commitment to action that fosters behavioral change.
  • Customer Development - Establish and nurture productive internal and external relationships, aligning with customer needs and organizational objectives.
  • Local Market & Therapeutic Area Expertise - Analyze market trends and account dynamics, applying therapeutic knowledge to uncover and prioritize unique opportunities.
  • Reimbursement - Stay informed on reimbursement trends and proactively address payer access issues using Lundbeck resources.
  • Pharmaceutical Environment / Compliance - Apply knowledge of the pharmaceutical and regulatory landscape to ensure adherence to Lundbeck policies and FDA regulations regarding product promotion.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and SKILLS :

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • 2+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, biologics, medical device sales, or related healthcare sales.
  • Strong capacity to excel in product training and certification.
  • Self-starter with a robust work ethic and exceptional communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer literacy.
  • Must live within 40 miles of territory boundaries.
  • Valid driver's license with a safe driving record is essential.
  • Compliance with healthcare provider credentialing requirements is essential for ongoing employment.
  • PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS :

  • Experience in specialty product sales.
  • Experience promoting CNS / neuroscience products, including depression, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorder.
  • Documented successful sales track record.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute integrated account plans.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using sales data tools to identify trends.
  • Experience with product launches and working with alliance partners (co-promotions).
  • Leadership experience through participation in committees and related activities.
  • TRAVEL :

  • Willingness to travel 30% - 40% domestically to engage with the customer base and internal teams, as well as attend 4-8 internal / external conferences across the United States.
  • The salary range for this role is $117,000 - $137,000, with a sales incentive target of $39,000.
