Garage Valet Attendant

The Garage Valet Attendant is a customer service position involving parking and retrieving vehicles for customers. The primary responsibility of a garage valet is to provide a positive and efficient parking experience for customers and to make a fantastic impression through every interaction by engaging with our guests and customers in a friendly manner, giving them the best experience possible while providing safe and efficient service.

Schedule : Mon-Fri 9am-5pm

Responsibilities

  • Keep the safety of self and others in mind at all times.
  • Park customers' vehicles in designated parking spots, ensuring they are parked safely and securely, minimizing the potential for accidents.
  • Keep track of keys and vehicles throughout the garage.
  • Provide exceptional guest experience.
  • Maintain organization at operation.
  • Be enthusiastic about the job, creating a positive environment for the customers and teammates to enjoy.
  • Use professional communication and VPNE-approved language choices.
  • Help facilitate transition at the end of the shift.
  • Provide information about the garage, such as the hours of operation, rates, or any special promotions upon request.
  • Always maintain a neatly groomed appearance.
  • Cleaning duties as assigned.
  • Adhere to the VPNE attendance policy.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including wearing appropriate safety gear and promptly reporting any hazards or incidents.
  • Ability to fill out damage or accident supports.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Able to smile during customer interactions.
  • Possess an upbeat personality, a willingness to go the extra mile, and a strong work ethic.
  • Maintain uniform standards when on job premises.
  • Ability to read, write and verbally communicate in English.
  • Ability to move quickly.
  • Ability to organize cars efficiently.
  • Ability to stand for long periods.
  • Ability to safely operate vehicles and pass a driving test on a manual transmission vehicle.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Possess a valid Driver's License.
  • Be able to pass a criminal background check and RMV check.
  • Ability to create relationships with customers.
  • Be organized.
  • Clean driving record deemed insurable by VPNE's current insurance provider.
