Certification Details

BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (preferred).
TNCC strongly preferred.

Job Details

ED RN Days / Eves / Nights Rotate, EOW & EOH – 36hrs.

Traveler will be expected to Rotate to our New Observation Unit when requested.

Unit Name : Emergency Department.

Brief Unit Description : 65-Bed Emergency Department, pod-based, with separate pediatric pod and separate Acute Mental Health area.

Years of Experience Required : 2 years Emergency Nursing experience.

Skill Sets Required : General ED nursing skills including but not limited to : Assessment, documentation, IV, phlebotomy, EKG, Cardiac Monitoring, point of care testing, splinting, critical thinking and patient education.

Clinician to Patient Ratio : 1 : 4.

Patient Population : All.

Bed Count : 65.

Census : 230 visits / day.

EMR (Charting System) : EPIC – ASAP.

Floating Required : Yes.

Rotating Shifts Required : Yes, for Day Rotate (7a-7p, 11a-11p, & 7p-7a) when requested. Rotation frequency : Low. Night position does not rotate.

Job Requirements

2 years Emergency Nursing experience.

General ED nursing skills : Assessment, documentation, IV, phlebotomy, EKG, Cardiac Monitoring, point of care testing, splinting, critical thinking and patient education.
