POSITION PROFILE The MillerKnoll Engineering Lead for the North America Specials Operations is responsible for the people, process, and technology used to meet dealer demand within their scope of responsibility. Customer satisfaction is a top priority for this role, with a focus on first time quality, speed, and design integrity in alignment with the MillerKnoll brand. In addition, cultivating a positive, transparent, and accountable culture that allows us to continuously improve and remain an industry leader. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Capable of navigating corporate organizational structure and build constructive relationships broadly.
- Articulates a clear vision and expectations to drive performance and accountability throughout the team.
- Ability to build fluid and effective relationship with customer facing teams, Operations / supply base, and other downstream departments to ensure flow of orders and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Encourages and sponsors continuous improvement of knowledge transfer, error proofing, and process standardization through effective problem solving.
- Actively working to enhance designs, tools, and technologies used in the Specials process.
- Will require a working knowledge of the Specials process from quote response through order execution.
- First responder for order stops, design complexity, or clarification of existing orders.
- Responsible for staffing, team structure, and team dynamics.
- Within assigned scope, responsible for the product design modification, bill of material updates, and overall order flow.
- Active part of a broader global leadership team, responsible for sharing resources to meet customer demand, and collaborating to optimize our processes and capabilities globally.
- Can effectively market and advocate "what we do" to diverse audiences. REQUIRED SKILLS

- Engineering / technical degree or equivalent professional experience required
- Operational experience preferred
