Join Meliora Academy, a private, special education day school serving students ages 3-22 with autism spectrum and related disorders. Utilizing evidence-based interventions, including applied behavior analysis, we provide individualized instruction and one-on-one support to help students reach their maximum potential. Your Role as a Special Education Teacher
Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of students with special needs, ensuring their academic and developmental success.
Track and assess student growth, making data-driven adjustments to keep them on a successful learning path.
Manage challenging behaviors by implementing effective behavior support plans that foster positive student outcomes.
Work closely with RBTs, support staff, and parents to build an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Ensure compliance with educational laws while advocating for the rights and needs of students with disabilities.
Foster a positive, inclusive classroom where every student feels supported, valued, and empowered to thrive.
