Job Summary
The LPN provides care to patients in accordance with their developmental needs, following the standards of the Department of Nursing and in accordance with hospital policy and procedure.\nCore Job Responsibilities
Perform complete assessment data collection, under the supervision of an RN and / or provider, on all patients\nAssess and reassess pain.
Educates the patient and family regarding pain management\nObserve and identify adverse changes in patient condition and notifies appropriate RN and / or
provider\nMaintains current knowledge of medications and their correct administration\nInteracts professionally with patient and family. Involves patient and family in patient education.\nCleans and operates equipment correctly\nPerform other duties as required.
Licensure / Certification Requirements
REQUIRED : \nCurrent New York State Practical Nursing Registration.\nCPR
