MEDICAL ASSISTANT

Position Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality clinical and administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our practice and deliver excellent patient care. This role involves direct patient interaction, assisting with clinical procedures, and supporting physicians and staff in day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities :

Support general clinic operations and assist with administrative tasks as needed

Administer therapeutic injections and vaccinations under clinical supervision

Collect and process lab specimens; perform basic clinical laboratory tests

Conduct diagnostic procedures including EKGs, spirometry, and audiometry

Assist physicians during in-office procedures and patient examinations

Accurately enter and update patient information in electronic medical records (EMR)

Maintain organized and clean work areas and ensure clinical supplies are stocked

Help ensure workflow efficiency and patient care coordination throughout the clinic

Qualifications :

Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program required

Certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) preferred but not required

Strong understanding of medical terminology, procedures, and clinical protocols

Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems

Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills

CPR / BLS certification preferred.

Physical Requirements :

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday

Ability to assist with physical patient care tasks and maneuver clinical equipment
