There will be a strong focus on Procedure, TEEs, Cath Labs and EKGs. Key responsibilities include growing the service line; managing cardiologist relationships; juggling provider needs and employee wants; team building and change management as new services (ECHO, EKG) will now live under the Cath Lab umbrella; and Quality and Patient Safety.\n\nCandidates must have deep Cardiology experience, knowing the ins and outs of a Cath Lab; previous success driving team building and relationship management with strong personalities balancing providers and employees with a patient focus; and business acumen with a passion for growing service lines. • Job Summary : \n\nDirects services, workflow and resources for assigned nursing area.\n
• Job Responsibilities and Requirements : \n
• Primary Responsibilities \n\n+ Develops departmental goals and objectives consistent with medical, administrative, legal and ethical requirements of the health care delivery system.\n\n+ Directs clinical activities, including patient assessment, care plan development, service level determination, patient visits, and complaint management.\n\n+ Plans, organizes and directs all activities related to staffing, including hiring, orienting, evaluating and continuing education initiatives.\n\n+ Prepares and monitors budget(s) and ensures that assigned nursing area operates within allocated funds. Coordinates and directs internal and externally-driven audits.\n\n+ Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.\n\n+ Performs other duties as assigned.\n
• Education \n\n+ Master's degree in nursing or related field; Bachelor's degree in Nursing if Master's is not in Nursing\n
• Experience \n\n+ Three years' experience, with 1 year in direct people management / leadership\n\n+ Experience in Cath Lab and / or Cardiology required\n
• Physical Requirements \n\n+ Frequent lifting / carrying and pushing / pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.\n\n+ Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot / leg and hand / arm movements.\n\n+ Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.\n\n+ Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.\n\n+ Frequent keyboard use / data entry.\n\n+ Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.\n\n+ Occasional lifting / carrying and pushing / pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.\n\n+ Rare climbing.\n
