Women & Infants Hospital part of the Care New England Health System , is one of the nations leading specialty hospitals for women and newborns, a  regional powerhouse  averaging annually 9K births and 7K surgeries, and a  major teaching affiliate  of the Warren Alpert Medical School of  Brown University   for ob / gyn and newborn pediatrics.

Our Womens Behavioral Health service launched the Day Hospital, the nations first perinatal partial hospital program treating pregnant women and new mothers with depression, anxiety, or other emotional distress, with their babies in a warm, nurturing setting.

Position Spotlight :

Womens Behavioral Health Reproductive Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine

• Board certified Adult Psychiatrist
• BE / BC Addiction fellowship required
• Serve as the attending psychiatrist within WBH with primary focus in substance use disorders for perinatal patients.
• Experience managing medications in pregnant and breastfeeding patients (perinatal mental health fellowship preferred but not required)
• Assist with the build out of the WBH service line including :

Co-create substance use programming across the partial hospital program, intensive outpatient program, low intensity intensive outpatient program and recovery stabilization services.
