Position Overview

A wholesale manufacturer is seeking a mid-to-senior level Product Development & Project Manager to lead the end-to-end lifecycle of connected consumer devices. This role blends strategic product vision, technical execution, and cross-functional leadership; driving products from concept through design, development, manufacturing, launch, and continuous improvement.

The Ideal Candidate

5+ years in consumer product development, preferably with connected devices or consumer electronics

Strong knowledge of UX / UI and consumer behavior trends

Experienced in Wi-Fi / Bluetooth integration and cross-functional launches

Skilled in coordinating with international manufacturing partners (China preferred)

Proactive, organized, and resourceful with strong leadership and communication skills

Key Responsibilities

Drive product vision, positioning, and feature requirements using market insights

Manage full product lifecycle, integrating hardware, software, and mobile / cloud platforms

Coordinate internal teams and external vendors to deliver on time and budget

Oversee Wi-Fi / Bluetooth functionality, testing, and certification (FCC, CE, UL)

Manage vendor relationships, prototyping, production, and QA with overseas partners

Support go-to-market readiness, packaging, logistics, and post-launch improvements

Qualifications and Must-Haves

Bachelor's degree in engineering, design, or related field highly preferred

5+ years of product development and project management experience

Proven success with consumer electronics or connected device launches

Hands-on experience with manufacturing / vendor coordination

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Yiddish speaking highly preferred
