Saint Francis Hospita l in Evanston, Illinois is seeking a is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible General Surgeon to join our growing surgical team. Position Details
- Employed by Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group
- Full Time | Mix of Inpatient and Outpatient responsibilities
- Case mix includes bread and butter general surgery operations, acute care surgery and daytime trauma coverage
- Current services provided include a broad range of elective general surgery, endoscopy, as well as urgent surgery and trauma
- Home call is 1 / 3 along with the option to take additionally compensated night and weekend shifts
- 24 / 7 General Surgery resident coverage; academic environment affiliated with the University of Illinois with optional research opportunities
- We staff a suburban level one trauma center
- Opportunities to work with and teach surgery residents and medical students
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care.
Qualifications
We seek a full-time general surgeon with an interest in becoming a partner in a suburban practice.Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.Completion of an accredited General Surgery residency program.Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery (ABMS or AOA).Current and unrestricted Illinois medical license (or ability to obtain prior to start).Current DEA registration.Excellent interpersonal, clinical, and communication skills.Benefits

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $450,000-$550,000 on an annualized basis.
