Essential Functions
- Perform technical quality assurance testing for vehicles, systems, facilities, and equipment.
- Manage, conduct, and coordinate quality assurance audits in procurement and maintenance processes.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate field, bench, and laboratory test results.
- Review, prepare, and revise product descriptions, specifications, and maintenance procedures.
- Evaluate products and procedures for compliance with industry standards and operational requirements.
- Provide staffing or consulting support for quality assurance audits, inspections, and work processes.
- Document findings and provide professional reports with recommendations for corrective actions.
- All other duties as assigned.
Competencies
Strong knowledge of quality assurance principles, standards, and testing methods.Experience with audits, inspections, and evaluation of transit vehicles, systems, facilities, and equipment.Ability to analyze technical data, interpret test results, and make recommendations for improvements.Strong written and verbal communication skills for documentation and stakeholder interactions.Proficiency with quality management systems, project management, and reporting tools.Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance, testing, or inspection in transportation, infrastructure, or related fields.Experience conducting audits, inspections, and evaluations of vehicles, systems, or equipment.Preferred Qualifications
Professional certifications such as CQE (Certified Quality Engineer), CQA (Certified Quality Auditor), or equivalent.Experience with transit or large infrastructure projects.Experience developing, implementing, and evaluating field-testing protocols.Benefits
