Job descriptionAdministrative Staff : Clinic Director & Office Supervisor Advanced Practice Providers : 2, sees follow-up patients (does not see new patients), does injections Medical Assistant : 1 per provider Patient Service Representatives : 6 total for practice 5 experienced physicians in group, along with 2 APRN and 1 PA Location : Springer Building, 2nd Floor Number of exam rooms : 2 rooms per provider, each provider has own office space Hours : 8am-5pm Equipment : Ultrasound and microscope Infusions : Done at SFH Yale campus or Saint Francis Cancer Treatment Center. (Everything is offered at Yale North entrance except Rituxan which is only offered at Cancer Center). All ordered are done through Epic. Consults average 1-2 per week but can also go weeks without any Mon-Fri 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm All providers work 4.5 days Internal referral network and department that is dedicated to building new physicians' panels Booking out 12 months for new patients and follow ups All providers are referring to Pain Management for pain management needs, will manage some of their own All providers have the option to use Dragon voice recognition with Epic. Biopsies (Muscle biopsies are primarily done by Dr. John King-General Surgery. Kidney biopsies are sent to lab in Arkansas from the SFH Pathology department.) Sonosite ultrasound is available in office. Pediatric Rheumatology : None offered in the Tulsa area. The majority of pediatrics is referred to Andrea Sestak, M.D. in OKC. She is currently in private practice previously with University of Oklahoma. The Warren Clinic providers will see pediatric patients to provide consults for ages 11 years and older). 15-20 patients a day Hospital : 1 in every 6 weekends Hospitalists handle admits, so providers don’t have emergent cases that require them to go in and handle throughout night Clinic : Weekday / weeknight is split between 4 providers If you cover weekend call then you have less call during the week Residency program through OSU. Residents assist with inpatient consults and follow physician in clinic.
