Seasonal / Temporary Pecan Orchard Worker

Worker will be required to perform job duties under SOC 53-7064 Packers and Packagers, Hand such as :

• Prepare / clear the pecan and peach orchard
• Harvest and gather pecans
• Pack or package pecans in bulk bags after cleaning
• Place for shipment
• Record tree maturity and bag numbers
• Use tools such as pruning hooks, shears, shovels, backhoe, trowels, etc. to care for trees, field roads / boundaries, move dirt
• Speak and understand English
