Job Summary

Provides onsite health promotion, restoration of health, injury and illness prevention, and injury and illnesstreatment.Providesmedicalcare,firstaid,andotherhealthserviceswithinthescopeofpractice for licensure and in accordance with protocols.

Key Responsibilities

Promotessafetyandhealthtoallteammembersbyeducatingteammembersonprotocols,injury prevention, ergonomics, and wellness programs. Collaborates cross-functionally to promote health programs and occupational health compliance.

Providesappropriatehealthevaluationsandtreatmentforworkandnon-work-relatedinjuriesand illnesses.

Performsdrugandalcoholtestingper policy.

Assistswithcasemanagementstrategiesforworkrelatedinjuriesandillnesses.

ParticipatesinIncidentinvestigationsas necessary.

Servesasliaisonwithmedicalclaimsadjusters,medicalproviders,and / orcounselforworkers’ compensation.

Maintainsaccuratedocumentationandassistsindepartmentalmedicalrecordsupkeepensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations (i.e., HIPAA).

ParticipatesinSafety,HealthServices,andHumanResourcesprojectsandinitiatives,suchasflu shot clinics, health screenings, stress management workshops, etc.

Staysuptodatewithworkplacesafetyregulations,healthcarebestpractices,andOSHA recordkeeping rules to ensure compliance with local and federal laws.

Minimum Qualifications (Education & Experience)

CurrentunrestrictedLPNlicensetopracticenursinginhiringstate(orcompactlicensurestate)

CurrentcertificationinFirstAid,CPR,andAED

Highschooldiploma,GED,orequivalent

1+yearsofrelevantexperienceortheknowledge,skills,andabilitiestosucceedintherole
