Job description

A company is looking for a Lead Data Platform Engineer responsible for designing, building, and operating an enterprise data platform focused on healthcare data.

Key Responsibilities

Administer and manage Databricks workspaces, clusters, and security configuration

Design and implement scalable ingestion pipelines into Delta Lake

Ensure alignment with FedRAMP, HIPAA, and FISMA security and compliance requirements

Required Qualifications

7+ years of experience in data engineering, platform architecture, or related roles

Hands-on expertise with Databricks, Spark, Delta Lake, and orchestration tools

Experience in implementing Data Lakes / Lakehouse architecture using Databricks and AWS technologies

Strong knowledge of AWS services, IAM, VPC, and network security

Familiarity with regulated environments such as HIPAA, FedRAMP, and FISMA
