    • REQUIRED PROCEDURES

  • Routine and complicated vaginal deliveries
  • Cesarean sections
  • Low forceps deliveries
  • Breech and multiple births
  • Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
  • OB ultrasound performance and interpretation (Level I and II)
  • Gynecologic surgeries (D&C, hysterectomy, uterine suspension, anterior / posterior repair, tumor resection)
  • Laparoscopic diagnostic / minor (tubal ligation, LOA’s, chromal tubation)
  • Operative / major laparoscopic procedures (ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy)

    • JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Licenses : Eligible for NM medical license
  • Board : BC / BE in OB / GYN; must be certified or actively pursuing certification by ABOG
  • DEA : Active DEA required
  • Certifications : Not specified, BLS / ACLS typically expected
  • Experience : At least 1 year; case logs required (50 vaginal deliveries, 20 C-sections, 25 gynecologic surgical procedures in past 12 months)
  • Other Qualifications : Proficiency with Epic EMR

    • DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide inpatient and outpatient obstetric and gynecologic care
  • Perform routine and complex deliveries, including C-sections
  • Manage high-risk and low-risk pregnancies
  • Conduct gynecologic surgeries as credentialed
  • Collaborate with hospital staff and fellow OBGYNs to ensure continuity of care
  • Participate in night and weekend call coverage
  • Interpret fetal heart rate and conduct ultrasounds
  • Document patient care accurately in Epic EMR
