What You'll Do :

Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities, with working environments and conditions varying by location.

Observe and report any unusual activities or incidents to Allied Universal management and / or client representatives.

Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access.

Assist visitors and employees with directions and information as needed while maintaining a professional presence.

Complete required reports and logs in accordance with Allied Universal and client guidelines.

Minimum Requirements :

At least 2 years of security-related experience are required.

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

A guard card or license is preferred.

Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
