ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Boone, North Carolina.

Job Details :

Work 3x12 night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM on weekdays

Up to 2 weekends per month required

This is a dedicated float position between ICU / Intermediate / Stepdown / MedSurg units based on patient volume

Must be very flexible with floating assignments

Work holidays within contract period - must be willing to work 2 of the 3 major holidays

No holiday RTO requests accepted

Facility will consider 4x12 schedules with overtime after 48 hours if requested at time of submittal

Patient ratios typically 1 : 5-6 depending on patient acuity and unit assignment

Care for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients

Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS (must be AHA certified)

Must have active NC or Multistate license

1-2 years of nursing experience required, travel experience preferred

EPIC EMR experience required with recent proficiency

Must wear all white or all navy scrubs

Skills include isolation precautions, oxygen administration, peripheral line care, rapid response team activation

May be required to float to CNA level discipline within scope of practice based on staffing needs

Must reside more than 40 miles from facility

Driver's license required for address verification

The facility maintains high standards for patient care and utilizes modern technology including EPIC electronic medical records. The organization follows structured protocols for patient safety and maintains interdisciplinary support teams to ensure quality outcomes across all departments.
