As Director of Accounting , you'll play a critical leadership role in scaling our financial operations as we grow. You'll lead the charge in bringing accounting functions in-house, implementing systems and controls that enable us to operate efficiently, accurately, and in compliance as we expand. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments, is excited by building from the ground up, and loves creating structure from ambiguity.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead all core accounting operations including general ledger, AR / AP, revenue recognition, consolidations, reconciliations, and month-end close
• Build and mentor an in-house accounting team—hiring, training, and developing future leaders
• Manage and optimize our ERP system implementation (NetSuite experience strongly preferred)
• Establish, document, and maintain robust accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Ensure accurate and timely financial statements, variance analyses, and management reporting
• Oversee audits, tax filings, and compliance with relevant state and federal regulations
• Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, and Operations to support business initiatives and improve financial visibility
• Drive process improvement and automation across accounting workflows, ensuring scalability as the company grows
• Serve as a key liaison between Finance, Legal, and external stakeholders, providing data-driven insights to leadership
• Support forecasting and budgeting efforts in collaboration with the CFO, Controller, and FP&A
