Responsibilities
- Development and maintenance of automated processes leveraging software tools and platforms including Empyrean, Excel, VBA, Tableau, Python and Snowflake
- Support of treasury management activities related to fund-raising, investing, financial risk measurement, and reporting while ensuring compliance with policies, guidelines and best practices
- Review of new business forecasts and associated funding programs, providing input and effective challenge as appropriate
- Provision of analytical support for materials presented at executive management forums including Asset / Liability Committee (ALCO) and the Board of Directors
- Support of strategic decision-making by conducting robust and comprehensive market and financial analysis related to business and market transactions
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in a quantitative subject (STEM, Economics or Finance)Financial / Balance Sheet risk management experienceExperience developing and using Financial Models to measure risk and performanceA working knowledge of the valuation and risk profiles of Fixed Income and Derivative productsWork history dealing with the dynamics and interactions driving a Financial Institution's Balance Sheet and Income StatementExpert working knowledge of SQL, Excel and TableauAdded Bonus
Master's degree in a relevant (STEM, Finance, Accounting) fieldExperience with Empyrean, QRM, or Calypso financial risk management platformsExperience supporting the Hedge Accounting function in a large corporate / banking institutionCPACFA charter holderBenefits
