About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Location : Highland Park, IL

Shift : Eve 3x12-Hour 11a-11p

36hrs per week

Start Date : 11 / 09 / 2025

Job Type : 13-week Contract

Position Summary :

Detail : is more of a cardio hospital - elderly population. Lots of critical care and medically challenged patients.

Notes : Epic experience, no more than 3 days off, Must pass an EKG test first day at orientaion

Floating , rarely within service line and locations : Evanston, Glenbrook, Skokie, Highland Park

Weekend Requirements : 1 holiday and every other weekend

Key Responsibilities :

• Being ready to respond and equipped to deal with a medical emergency.
• Quickly assessing patient needs.
• Treating critical injuries, allergic reactions, and trauma.
• Performing minor medical operations.
• Cleaning wounds.
• Drawing blood.
• Maintaining emergency room care standards.
• Assisting with insurance paperwork.
• Ensuring the efficiency of the patient check-in process.
• Displaying strong decision-making skills in emergency scenarios.
