Job descriptionWork 12-hour night shifts from 6 : 45 PM to 7 : 15 AM 36 hours per week only (13-26 week contracts available) Patient ratios of 1 : 6-7 Floating required as needed with potential to float every shift Weekend requirement : 5-6 weekend shifts (every other weekend) Maximum 7 days RTO allowed Must pass EKG testing prior to start 24 hours of orientation required Navy scrubs required Minimum 2 years of experience required Telemetry and PCU / DOU / IMC / Stepdown experience required Required certifications : ACLS, BLS Preferred certifications : NIH Experience required : interpretation of dysrhythmias, remote monitoring, pre / post cardiac cath and surgery, sheath removal, accessing ports, blood product administration, central line / PICC line management Must be able to titrate cardiac drips including Diltiazem and Amiodarone Work with cardiac drips (Dobutamine, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Milrinone, Dopamine) Perform sheath pulls, TR bands, and Femstop procedures Use Epic documentation system and Pyxis medication system Self-scheduling per unit needs May be assigned to Storm Team / Hurricane Team during catastrophic events Charge experience preferred First-time travelers accepted Referral bonus
