Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule / Shift Night shift, 3x12-hour (18 : 45 - 07 : 15), with every other weekend required. Job Description Join a dynamic team as a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical Oncology. This role requires a dedicated individual to provide high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population, primarily consisting of medical-surgical patients with oncology histories. Responsibilities Administer chemotherapy / biotherapy through IV, PO, or injection. Monitor and manage patients undergoing chemotherapy, including dosing adjustments and side effect management. Perform essential nursing duties including IV therapy, phlebotomy, and blood product administration. Manage peripheral and central lines, including PICC line care and access. Provide comprehensive patient assessments and wound care, including wound vacs. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Adhere to isolation precautions and manage complex medical conditions, including AKI, sepsis, and diabetic foot ulcers. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical nursing; Oncology experience preferred or willing to obtain ONC certification. Current BLS certification required. Experience with IV therapy, phlebotomy, blood product administration, and management of dysrhythmias.
