About the Role :

Join Tradition Home Health Care as a HHA-PCA in Brooklyn, NY, where you will provide essential support to clients in their homes. We are looking for compassionate and dedicated individuals to deliver high-quality care and make a positive impact in the lives of others.

Responsibilities :

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
  • Monitor and document client health and progress, reporting any changes to the supervisor.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being.
  • Administer medications and assist with mobility and physical therapy exercises.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Adhere to all safety and health regulations while providing care.
  • Work flexible hours, including long shifts, to meet client needs.

    • Requirements :

  • Must have a valid HHA or PCA certification in New York State.
  • Previous experience in home health care or a similar role is required
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanor.
  • Ability to lift and assist clients as needed.
  • Reliable transportation and flexibility to work various shifts.
  • Basic understanding of medication administration and health monitoring.
  • Must pass background checks and health screenings.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
