Accounting Specialist I for Manufacturer - Not Remote Work

Since 1957, The Zippertubing Company has been manufacturing USA-made EMI shielding, specialized heat shrink, cable bundling, heat shielding, and marine fairing solutions. We are currently seeking an Accounting Specialist I for our manufacturing company based in Chandler, AZ. Available day shift Monday - Friday, great hours, competitive benefits, and so much more. This position is to be filled immediately with the qualified candidate.

Job Specific Responsibilities :

• Process accounts payable transactions, including verifying invoices, expense reports, credit card purchases, obtaining approvals, and processing outgoing wires, ACH and checks according to the schedules, resolve discrepancies by investigating documentation.
• Reconcile and record monthly freight charges along with auditing freight bills as to what was billed to customers.
• Reconcile and record monthly credit card activity.
• Ensure all documentation is received for new vendors.
• Assist with accounts receivable activities, such as invoicing, posting payments, customer credit check, maintaining the resale certificate file.
• Perform weekly collection calls for Accounts Receivables.
• Assists accounting team in other areas when needed.
• All other duties as assigned by the department manager or executive management.
