Job Responsibilities :
- Responsible for analyzing sales trends, working closely with seasonal transitions / limited releases to better understand supply and demand for the purpose of managing appropriate inventory levels across the portfolio of brands
- Responsible for submitting and reviewing all purchase orders for assigned suppliers. Ability to modify and edit orders quickly as sales projections change
- Build and develop strong relationships with assigned suppliers to ensure appropriate supply of product within specified time windows
- Communicate with the Warehouse Manager to prioritize incoming shipments
- Analyze inventory reports to proactively manage and limit the carrying cost of inventory and mitigate out of stock situations
- Work closely with the manager, sales, warehouse and suppliers to proactively address quality control concerns
- Communicate regularly with the General Manager, Sales Manager, and Brand Managers to ensure optimal inventory levels for sales execution
- Scheduling freight for all relevant shipments, either with our internal team or through our TMS provider
- Assist on special projects as needed
