We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team in Orlando, Florida. The role involves managing incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory records, and ensuring efficient handling of goods to support daily operations.
Responsibilities :
- Inspect and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders or invoices to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to company guidelines and carrier standards.
- Organize and label materials properly, storing them in designated locations for easy access.
- Maintain precise records of all received and shipped goods using inventory management systems.
- Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and logistics teams to monitor shipments and address discrepancies.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks, provided proper certification.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and cycle counts to maintain stock accuracy.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and in compliance with safety standards.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures to ensure a secure working environment.
- Proven experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with inventory tracking systems and record-keeping processes.
- Ability to follow shipping and packaging guidelines effectively.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with various departments.
- Certification to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
