Key Responsibilities of the Controller
Oversee all accounting operations, including month-end close, reporting, and compliance.
Lead and mentor a team of two Senior Accountants.
Manage cash flow, treasury activities, and tax compliance.
Drive audit readiness and maintain strong internal controls in accordance with GAAP.
Serve as a key leader in the ERP migration from Sage to Dynamics 365 , mapping processes, validating data, and training the team.
Collaborate with senior leadership to enhance reporting, streamline processes, and support strategic initiatives.
Deliver accurate, timely, and actionable financial insights to guide business decisions.
Preferred Qualifications for the Controller
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA strongly preferred).
Big 4 or public accounting experience preferred
Strong audit background and deep technical GAAP knowledge.
ERP experience, with Dynamics 365 implementation exposure being a major plus.
Hands-on, detail-oriented leader comfortable managing change and getting in the weeds.
Experience in manufacturing or distribution environments preferred, but not required.
