Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Digital Content Writer located in Lenexa, KS. The Digital Content Writer will create and edit web content, develop and implement content strategies, conduct research, write different types of content, and proofread to ensure quality and consistency. In this position, you will create engaging content that helps our clients achieve their marketing goals. Your contributions will be vital in helping businesses amplify their online presence and achieve their sales goals.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation (50%)

  • Write engaging, SEO-optimized articles, blog posts, and website content for a diverse range of clients.
  • Conduct keyword research and implement best practices for search engine optimization.
  • Edit and proofread content for grammar, spelling, and adherence to brand voice.
  • Collaborate with the broader agency team to align content with marketing objectives.
  • Meet deadlines consistently while managing multiple client projects.

Visual Content Development (25%)

  • Create and enhance written content with complementary images and graphics using Canva, Adobe, and other design tools, including AI.
  • Design visually appealing content that maintains brand consistency.
  • Transform complex concepts into compelling visual assets.
  • Optimize visual content for various digital platforms.

    • Social Media Management (25%)

  • Develop and implement organic social media strategies across platforms.
  • Create, schedule, and publish posts on Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other relevant platforms.
  • Stay current on social media trends and platform updates

    • Qualifications

    Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in content creation with SEO knowledge
  • Proven experience managing social media accounts for businesses
  • Proficiency with Canva or similar design tools
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles
  • Experience with social media management platforms

    • Preferred

  • Experience working in an agency environment
  • Knowledge of AI tools for content creation and enhancement
  • Understanding of Google Analytics and social media metrics
  • Experience with content management systems
  • Portfolio demonstrating writing and design capabilities
