Seattle Center Administrative And Project Support
Seattle Center Programs & Events is seeking a highly-qualified person to provide administrative and project support to all the customers of the division. The position provides support in event scheduling and booking, event development and information management.
This position serves as a critical point for information, process and workflow related to Seattle Center programs and events, helping to ensure that the necessary information is anticipated, compiled, tracked and transitioned consistently from person to person, unit to unit to achieve a successful outcome. This position serves both public programs and commercial events, collaborating with booking staff and programming staff to ensure effective coordination of campus facilities in a manner that supports the mission and goals of the department. The focus of the work entails information management, report production, event & meeting forecasting and scheduling, communication with event producers, public officials, department staff and the public.
This position also provides program support for the Arts & Community Programs unit. Although this is not a marketing role, support includes managing some webpage content, proofing marketing materials, participating in social media efforts and knowing the design standards established by the department for all Seattle Center materials and information.
This is a part-time term limited temporary position, working approximately 30 hours a week. The assignment is currently scheduled to last 14 months.
