In the role of Construction Inspector I, we'll count on you to :

• Inspect highways, roadways, and bridge construction activities
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate construction inspections, quality assurance inspections of bridge and transportation projects, including foundations, paving, earthwork
• Coordinate with contractor, other inspectors, surveyors, and materials testers as well as documentation of the project progress
• Be responsible for maintaining accurate daily reports of construction site activity, field measurements for progress payment
• Produce required reports on progress, safety, quality, schedule, and budget status
• Coordinate with others for documentation for contractor progress pay estimates
• Perform calculations to support the technical aspects of the work including shoring, falsework, and quantities
• Perform other duties as needed
