Software Validation Engineer

A company is looking for a Software Validation Engineer to ensure the verification and validation of automation tools and computational biology software.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with software and automation teams to understand functional behavior of assay software and workflows

Create and execute test strategies and frameworks for validating software-related user needs, product requirements, and lab automation workflows

Document formal software test outcomes in alignment with IEC 62304 under Design Controls

Required Qualifications

At least 5 years of experience in software verification and validation for medical device products or regulated software

At least 3 years of experience with IEC 62304 and associated design controls

Experience collaborating with automation engineers and R&D team members

Experience reporting protocol variances and defects during verification / validation

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, laboratory sciences, or a related technical field
