Key Responsibilities
Answers calls in a call center environment to assist with patient inquiries and concerns
Processes payments, establishes payment plans, and maintains patient accounts
Coordinates with departments on accounts requiring precertification and resolves billing problems
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
Less than 1 year of experience, specifically 3 - 6 months required
Knowledge of HIPAA and privacy standards
Ability to enter data electronically and verify account balances
Familiarity with billing processes and insurance information
