Inpatient Nursing Manager

Job Summary :

Assume responsibility for management and direction of inpatient nursing service units and accountability for patient care delivery environment of assigned areas.

Manage human and fiscal resources allocated to assigned areas.

Establish and implement standards of practice that comply with regulatory agencies, overall direction, goals, budgets and quality of service.

Demonstrate and encourage team behavior and exceptional patient / guest experiences.

Uphold and promote patient safety and quality.

Education : Graduate from an accredited school of nursing and currently licensed as a registered nurse in the state of Alabama. Bachelor of science degree in nursing; Master's degree preferred.

Experience : Five to seven years' experience in nursing and / or nursing management.

Additional Skills / Abilities : Possess excellent interpersonal skills sufficient to interact with guests. Proficient oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills required.
